West Bromwich Albion were reportedly considering appointing Marco Silva earlier this season.

Marco Silva, Manager of Watford looks on prior to the Premier League match between Everton and Watford at Goodison Park on November 5, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Marco Silva looks to have made the right decision in turning down West Bromwich Albion now.

The Daily Mirror have reported how West Brom made an approach for Silva, but the Portuguese boss decided against moving to the Hawthorns.

Although it may have been a risk to stay out of work at the time, it seems that Silva has made the right decision.

The Mirror now claim that Silva is wanted by Everton to replace Sam Allardyce.

And if the 40-year-old is given the Toffees job then he can feel satisfied that he picked the right job.

West Brom were relegated this season, and are now having to rebuild, to try and put together a squad capable of winning promotion back to the top flight.

Everton, on the other hand, have big ambitions after staying up comfortably this season.

Sam Allardyce led the Toffees into eighth place in the Premier League table.

And the Toffees are hoping that Silva can be the man to push them on further into the top six next campaign.
