Everton are in the market for new signings this summer.

Everton boss Marco Silva has told the Liverpool Echo that he is looking for ‘three or four’ more signings – after a defender is brought to Goodison Park.

The Toffees have secured two signings this summer, bringing in goalkeeper Jonas Lossl as well as landing a permanent deal for midfielder Andre Gomes.

Now though, Everton must turn their attention to other signings, and boss Silva has acknowledged that he wants to get a permanent deal done for loan defender Kurt Zouma.

After that though, Silva has admitted that he wants three or four more signings to bolster his squad, giving Everton fans a glimpse of an exciting transfer window to come.

So where could those players be arriving? Well, a new striker is an absolute must, as whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin impressed in the final stages of last season, he’s not a natural goalscorer, and both Oumar Niasse and Cenk Tosun have struggled.

Another priority has to be a winger, preferably a left-footed wide man who plays on the right flank, offering balance to Silva’s side – and RMC Sport claimed today that a move for Barcelona’s Malcom is imminent.

Having allowed Jonjoe Kenny to head out on loan to Schalke, another right back should be a priority too, offering valuable cover for Seamus Coleman in that area of the pitch.

The final player could be another midfielder to cover for Gomes or higher up the pitch in Gylfi Sigurdsson, or even a left back of the future, with Leighton Baines only penning a one-year extension – but no matter where the players arrive, it seems Everton will be busy in the coming weeks.
