Everton attacker Ademola Lookman was given his first Premier League start of the season by Marco Silva last night.

Lookman was handed his first Premier League start of the season for Everton against Newcastle United, and the attacker put in a mixed display.
The England youth international did pose a threat at times, but there were moments were his final ball was lacking, as Everton could only manage to pick up a 1-1 draw.
And Silva said: “Lookman performed like I expected. He had some good moments – some others not so good, like the team.”
Lookman has been patiently waiting for his chance at Everton, but may not have done enough to retain his place in their starting line-up.

The youngster is in competition with Theo Walcott for a place in Silva’s team, and the former Arsenal man has generally been preferred so far this term.
Everton were largely the dominant side against Newcastle last night, but they did not take their chances.
Salomon Rondon had fired Newcastle in front early on, and even though Richarlison did strike an equaliser for the Toffees, they were unable to grab a second.
