The Everton ace looks set for a prolonged period on the sidelines.

Everton boss Marco Silva addressed the media during his pre-match press conference today, and delivered concerning news on Yerry Mina, suggesting that the injury he picked up whilst away on international duty with Colombia is a serious one, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
The Colombian ace joined the Toffees from Barcelona in the summer of 2018, for around £27 million, but his first season in England has been blighted by injuries.
Mina has made just nine Premier League starts for Everton, and he only recently returned having missed around six weeks due to an ongoing foot issue.
The 24-year-old played twice for Colombia during the international break, and suffered a hamstring injury during the second game against South Korea.
Unfortunately for Everton, Silva told reporters today how the injury is a serious one, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo:

“It is not good news. It is serious. It is now good for us as a club. It is now for us to support. He has had some unlucky moments and bad injuries since he joined the club. We knew before he went to the national team it would be risky for him to play the two matches.”
Everton are currently in a real scrap in the race for the last remaining Europa League spot, and losing Mina for a prolonged period of time will be a really big blow for Silva’s men, as they head into the final stretch.
