Everton defender Leighton Baines has struggled for appearances at Goodison Park this season, with Lucas Digne impressing.

Baines has just months left on his contract at Everton, and he has barely featured this season.
Lucas Digne’s arrival at Goodison Park has seen Banies replaced in Everton’s defence, and his task of breaking back into Silva’s team appears to be very difficult.
Digne has been arguably Everton’s best player so far this season, with the summer signing quickly adapting to Premier League football.
Baines has now been linked with a move to the MLS in recent times.
And Silva has hinted that he hasn’t made any decision over whether Baines will be kept on at Everton beyond the end of the season.

“Leighton deserves all our respect, not just because he has been playing here for many years to a high quality, but for the professional he is,” Silva said.
“Even when he is not playing he is always there helping. I know his behaviour, even on the bench.
“What the future is we will see at the right moment.”
Baines, who is on a £70,000-a-week contract (Daily Star), looks likely to remain on the Everton bench at the weekend, ahead of their match with Bournemouth.
Everton are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table, and the pressure is on them to pick up a victory.
