Watford manager Marco Silva has suggested to The Daily Star that he would be powerless to stop Richarlison from leaving.

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal all have been linked with moves for the 20-year-old winger in the January transfer window.

The Mirror has credited Tottenham with interest in the Brazilian, while The Daily Star claims that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants Richarlison as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

The 20-year-old winger joined the Hornets from Fluminense in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £11.5 million.

Watford manager Silva has spoken highly of Fluminense, but he has admitted that he would be powerless to keep hold of him if the club’s board accept an offer for him.

According to The Daily Star, the youngster would be available for around £25 million.

“The sky is the limit for him,” Silva told The Daily Star about Richarlison. “He could go on and on. He’s a fantastic talent. I am not surprised he is getting attention.

“What the board think of him now is open to them. If they decide his right price then it is not down to me.

“He learns every day. He’s everything a Brazilian player should be, but also has a style suited to the Premier League.

“I want my players to improve every day and he does that. I am not surprised clubs have come to our ground to watch him.”
