Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United are among the clubs reportedly interest in Everton central midfielder James McCarthy.

According to The Daily Mail, West Ham, Villa and West Brom are interested in signing McCarthy on loan from Everton this month.
Fulham and Bournemouth are also reported to want the 28-year-old central midfielder.

Everton manager Silva, though, has suggested that the Republic of Ireland international will not leave on loan.
Silva told The Liverpool Echo when asked about McCarthy leaving on loan in January: “This moment is not something in my mind.”
Staying at Everton
McCarthy has not played for a while, and the Republic of Ireland international central midfielder does need playing time in order to get back to his best.
It does make sense for the 28-year-old to move to a club in the Premier League or in the Championship on loan in the January transfer window.
Perhaps Everton manager Silva should reconsider his stance on the foamier Hamilton Academical and Wigan Athletic central midfielder, and allow him to find a club where he can play regularly for the second half of the season.
