Jean-Philippe Gbamin made his full Everton debut yesterday, and helped his side to a win at Goodison Park.

Gbamin has been utilised by Everton sooner than many expected, due to a shortage of options in midfield, and he still seems to be adjusting to Premier League football.
The Everton new boy has shown flashes of quality in his first two displays, but has not always looked totally confident.
And Silva suggested that Gbamin struggled at times during Everton’s 1-0 victory over Watford.
“J-P again, a little bit better than the last game but with problems again and you have to help them to improve and, in some moments, to give the time for them to be ready to help the team,” Silva said.

The Everton boss was also critical of Richarlison in the Daily Mail, which suggests he wasn’t entirely happy with his side’s showing.
The main thing for Everton was to get the three points though, and they did just that.
The Toffees scored through Bernard and remained solid at the back to see off the threat of Watford.
Everton have now made a bright start to the new campaign, as they have taken four points from their first two outings.
