Everton and Tottenham are reportedly keen on Hull City defender Harry Maguire.
Hull City manager Marco Silva
Hull City manager Marco Silva has told BT Sport that the club have yet to receive any offers from rivals clubs for star centre back Harry Maguire ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Tigers picked up a valuable 0-0 draw at Southampton on Saturday afternoon, with Eldin Jakupovic saving a last-gasp penalty from Saints playmaker Dusan Tadic to earn a point.
Silva’s men have now kept two clean sheets in a row, and whilst Jakupovic’s penalty heroics were key to Saturday’s point against Southampton, the entire Hull back line have shown promise under Silva.
No defender has impressed quite as much as defender Harry Maguire, with the centre back not only starring with his defensive ability, but also flashing quality on the ball and going forward, notching three goals and two assists this term.
The former Sheffield United youngster, 24, joined Hull back in the summer of 2014, but struggled to break into the team under Steve Bruce, playing just 25 league games under the ex-Hull boss whilst also being loaned out to Wigan Athletic.

This term, Maguire has played 27 Premier League games, and his impressive displays have attracted major interest ahead of the summer transfer window, especially with Hull in the relegation mix.
The Liverpool Echo reported last week that Everton are viewing Maguire as a potential alternative to Burnley’s Michael Keane, whilst the London Evening Standard believe that Tottenham scouts have been impressed with Maguire’s displays.

However, Hull boss Silva has now told BT Sport that the Tigers have yet to receive any bids for Maguire, and with points still needed to guarantee survival, he wants his players to be focused rather than thinking about summer moves.
“He is a young player as well, and it’s important for Hull to keep these kinds of players,” said Silva. “There have been no offers for the player, so I don’t want to talk too much about his position. I want to talk about the players keeping focused on our goal and to keep going until the end of the season,” he added.
