Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic could face Eintracht Frankfurt in the round of 32 in the Europa League.

Celtic have progressed to the knockout rounds of the Europa League as Group B runners-up.
As for Frankfurt, the German club finished top of Group H ahead of Italian club Lazio.
Russ, who can open as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, has said that he wants Frankfurt to face Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.
The 33-year-old German told The Scottish Sun: “My dream would be to be drawn with Celtic in the next round.
“I want to play in an atmospheric stadium and to play in Glasgow at Celtic Park would be fantastic.
“It would be great to play there. I once played in Istanbul against Fenerbahce and I couldn’t hear my central defensive partner speak to me. “I am told Celtic is like that or even louder.”

Europa League progress
Celtic were a bit lucky in the way they progressed to the Europa League round of 32.
However, the Glasgow giants should be confident of further success in the European competition.
Over two legs anything is possible, and if the Hoops get a favourable draw in the next round, then they could move further in the competition.
Celtic are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 33 points from 15 matches, just a point behind leaders Kilmarnock, who have played a game more.
