Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are currently in third place in the Scottish Premiership standings.
Marco Negri has told the Daily Record that he believes Glasgow Rangers’ board’s failure to offer Kenny Miller a new contract yet could hint at a lack of trust in Mark Warburton’s ability.
Warburton is understood to be keen to sort out Miller’s future, with the striker’s contract at Ibrox set to expire at the end of the season.

However, Rangers’ board have still not sanctioned offering the veteran forward a new deal.

And Negri suggests that Rangers’ failure to tie down the striker, shows a divide between the Glasgow side’s board and manager.
“It could be the issue with Kenny’s contract suggests there’s a lack of trust between the manager and the directors,” Negri said. “The most important thing in football are results and, at the moment, they are not helping Warburton.”
Report: Rangers star’s future in doubt, with two clubs now interested in signing him
Miller has played a key role for Rangers this term, making 30 appearances and scoring eight times.

Despite his advancing years, the Scotland international appears to still have an important role to play for the Ibrox side.
Miller has expressed a desire to stay with Rangers, but it is now unclear where his future lies.
According to the Scottish Sun, both Aberdeen and Hibernian are interested in signing Miller when his contract expires.
