According to AS, Liverpool are interested in signing Asensio from Spanish and European giants Madrid in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish publication has also credited Tottenham with interest in securing the services of the 23-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
The Spain international is a very talented footballer who has the potential to be world class, and there is no doubt that Tottenham and Liverpool will be better teams with the 23-year-old in them.
However, Asensio’s latest posts on Twitter suggest that he is not planning to leave Madrid anytime soon.
Earlier this week, the 23-year-old reflected on a disappointing season for Madrid, and he made it clear on Twitter that next season he and his teammates are determined to do better.
