Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Real Madrid attacker.

Real Madrid star Marco Asensio’s agent Horacio Gaggioli sat down for an exclusive interview with Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, and responded when asked if there is any chance that his client could join Liverpool this summer.
Jürgen Klopp is on the look out for another top class attacker to help provide more stringent competition for his famous front three, but his search has so far proven to be fruitless.
The German tried to bring Lyon ace Nabil Fekir to Anfield last month, but the move subsequently collapsed at the 11th hour, and he will now be focusing his attention elsewhere.

One of Liverpool’s key targets is Real Madrid star Marco Asensio, according to Italian publication Calcio Mercato, although he does have a £442 million release clause inserted into his current contract with Los Blancos.
The Spain international’s agent Horacio Gaggioli poured cold water on the rumours linking his client with a move to Merseyside, however, when speaking exclusively to Calcio Mercato:

“Marco does not move, he stays at Real Madrid. He is growing a lot and I think next season will be very important for him in Madrid.”
The Reds would obviously not pay anywhere near Asensio’s £442 million release clause, so if they were to have any chance of signing him, new Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui would have to make it clear that the Spaniard does not feature in his plans.
And with the incredible talent that the 22-year-old possesses, that really is extremely unlikely.
