Liverpool should seriously consider making a move for the Real Madrid ace this summer.
Liverpool have enjoyed a wonderful campaign so far this season, but regardless of whether they win any silverware or not, Jurgen Klopp will surely still be keen to bolster his ranks at Anfield this summer.
The Reds have one of the most dangerous front-lines in world football, but it could be argued that Klopp needs to bring in more top class competition for the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
And with this in mind, Liverpool should attempt to sign Real Madrid ace Marco Asensio this summer.
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, the Reds actually made a €150 million (£128 million) bid for the 23-year-old in January 2018, but with Zinedine Zidane ready to freshen up his own options in the summer, the La Liga giants might now be tempted into selling.
Asensio can play anywhere along the front-line. He possesses blistering pace and his technical ability can be matched by few in the game.
The Spain international is fast approaching his prime years, and he will only get better, but he seems to have stagnated at the Bernabeu.
A move to Liverpool would provide him with the platform to reinvigorate his career, and he would be an excellent addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Asensio seems to have everything needed to be the game’s next big star, and Liverpool would be the ideal place for him to fulfil his potential.
Whether the Merseyside outfit can tempt Madrid into selling, however, remains to be seen.
