Real Madrid and Barcelona attacking duo Marco Asensio and Philippe Coutinho have been linked with moves to Liverpool this summer.

Liverpool are yet to make a big move during this summer transfer window, but it could potentially come in the form of a La Liga based attacker making a switch to Anfield.
Spanish outlet El Desmarque previously claimed that Liverpool will be going all-out to seal the signature of Real Madrid’s left-footed whizz kid Marco Asensio this summer.
Meanwhile, another Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Jurgen Klopp is ready to forgive Philippe Coutinho and bring him back to Anfield this summer.
It would be a pretty big surprise if the Reds were to push forward for a deal for both those players, considering their status and the fee that they may demand.
If Liverpool had a choice then they should snap up Asensio, even though he struggled in a Madrid shirt last season because Klopp would be able to unlock a seriously talented footballer.
Added with that, Asensio is four years younger than 27-year-old Coutinho, who is arguably more technically gifted than the Spaniard, who is a lot more direct on the ball.

The likes of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah have proven the chaos they can cause under Klopp’s tactics with their power, pace and directness – given time Asensio could do the same.
Coutinho is more of a touch player, and whilst he’d be useful to Liverpool, Asensio would be more dangerous and Klopp shouldn’t hesitate in picking him over the Brazilian.
Plus, with the return of Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain from injury, he is going to provide that little something different, that special touch and drive from the middle of the park.
Klopp has seen what he can do with Coutinho at Anfield – and without him (winning the Champions League) – opting for something different might just provide the Reds with that unknown factor that could be ever so dangerous and rewarding in their title hunt.
