Everton were heavily linked with Marcelo Brozovic during the January transfer window.

Inter Milan’s crowd booed Marcelo Brozovic off the pitch, after his latest showing against Bologna, which could make a potential Everton move even more appealing.
Brozovic was jeered by the San Siro crowd, after the was taken off in Inter’s 2-1 win at the weekend.
The Croatian did not respond well to the reception he got from Inter’s fans, and sarcastically clapped them as he walked off, with tensions mounting between player and club.

Brozovic appears to be heading towards the exit door at Inter, and Everton should now be keeping a keen eye on the player’s situation.
It will be hugely difficult for Brozovic to get Inter’s fans back on side, and a fresh start at Goodison Park could be just what he needs.
The 25-year-old is a talent, even if his form at Inter hasn’t been particularly impressive, and Everton have been heavily linked with him in Calcio Mercato.

Brozovic’s situation at Inter is actually very similar to Morgan Schneiderlin’s current predicament at Everton, as the French midfielder was booed on to the pitch on his last appearance.
The Toffees were unable to get a deal for Brozovic over the line in January, but if he fails to recover his relationship with the Inter fans, then a summer move to Goodison Park may well be an appealing prospect for the creative midfielder.
