Marcelo Bielsa was appointed the Leeds United head coach in the summer of 2018.

Bielsa was appointed the Leeds head coach in the summer of 2018, and he is under contract at the Championship club until the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The West Yorkshire outfit are third in the Championship table at the moment and are still in the running for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Bielsa is hugely popular among the Elland Road faithful, who will surely want him to stay in charge of the first team next season irrespective of which division the club are in.
The Leeds boss, though, does not seem to be thinking too far ahead, and told The Yorkshire Evening when asked about his future: “It’s not up to me and I don’t have any more response to that.
“It’s not a decision we have to take now and it’s not the right time to give my opinion.”

Worrying for Leeds United fans
While it is not the right time to discuss his future, Bielsa’s comments are worrying for Leeds fans.
After all, the former Athletic Bilbao coach could have simply said that he would like to carry on the Leeds head coach next season.
Leeds will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Aston Villa at Elland Road in the Championship.
