Leeds United have been far from their best recently.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa spoke to reporters after his side’s disappointing defeat to Queens Park Rangers last night, and laughed off suggestions that his team are running out of energy at just the wrong time, as quoted by Leeds Live.
The Whites currently sit in third spot in the Championship table, missing out on the chance to go top last night, and they are two points adrift of current league leaders Norwich City.
Bielsa has done a fine job since taking over at Elland Road in the summer, but his team have shown signs of weakness in recent weeks, losing three and drawing one of their last seven Championship outings.
The question was put to Bielsa that his Leeds side are running out of energy, during his post-match press conference, and the Argentine fiercely refuted the accusation, as quoted by Leeds Live:

“Your question doesn’t have any basis because if you watch the game you can see this team has lots of energy and you are telling me if the team lost energy. What our team has shown in every game is we have an excess of energy. It’s clear you don’t know what you’re talking about because if there’s one thing this team doesn’t lack, it’s energy.”
Leeds have to bounce back immediately from their defeat to QPR, and with games against West Brom, Bristol City, Reading and Sheffield United all to come before the two-week international break, they have a great chance to re-establish their dominance in the division.
