If Leeds United avoid defeat against Derby County then they will be making a trip to Wembley later on this month.

Marcelo Bielsa has lauded the ‘special’ Leeds United supporters and claimed that they ‘don’t answer to things that you ask them to do’.
The Yorkshire outfit will be preparing for the second leg of their play-off semi-final encounter against Derby County on Wednesday night where anything else other than a defeat would see them preparing for a trip to Wembley.
The Elland Road crowd are going to play a big part in Leeds getting over that line as Bielsa made this brilliant observation of the club’s supporters ahead of that showdown with Frank Lampard’s side.
“The importance of Leeds fans in the behaviour of the team has been shown in many moments when our team faced adversity and could overcome this because of the fans,” said Bielsa, as quoted by Leeds Live.
“The fans do that without needing to get any message. What makes Leeds fans special is they don’t answer to things that you ask them to do.
“They don’t need to be asked to do things. That’s why I feel I have nothing to ask them, they already give what we need.”

If you include the two games that were played during the regular season, Leeds have a 7-1 aggregate score against the Rams which bodes well for Wednesday’s showdown.
But given the pressures that is on the club, the fans will be well aware that nothing is done yet and that they have to keep their feet on the ground.
By the time Leeds and Derby kick off, they will know who their potential opponents will be for that play-off final because West Brom and Aston Villa lock horns on Tuesday.
Dean Smith’s side won the first-leg encounter 2-1 on home soil, and just like Leeds, they need to avoid a defeat at the Hawthorns to make their second trip to Wembley.
