The 30-year-old midfielder started the match and played for 81 minutes, as the West Yorkshire club lost 4-3.
The Poland international was superb in the middle of the park, as he drove his team forward, linked up with attack, worked hard, had a lot of energy, and scored one of the goals.
According to WhoScored, Klich took one shot which ended in goal, had a pass accuracy of 87.1%, won one header, took 50 touches, attempted one dribble, took four tackles, one interception and two clearances, and put in one cross.
Marcelo Bielsa pleased
Leeds head coach Bielsa was impressed with the performance of Klich, and has outlined his importance in the game for his side.
Bielsa told Leeds Live about Klich: “He’s a very important player for this team. Defends like Phillips and attacks like Pablo.
“Very few players have those characteristics especially against Keita and Wijnaldum or when you have to attack against Van Dijk, Henderson and Fabinho.”
Back in action
Leeds will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on Hull City at Elland Road in the EFL Cup, befoe facing Fulham at home in the Championship next Saturday.
