Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has included Ryan Edmondson in first-team training recently.

Bielsa called Edmondson up into first-team training during the week, as he took a closer look at the powerful Leeds youngster.
And the Argentine boss said he was impressed by what he saw from the target-man, who is pushing for a chance at Elland Road.
“I want to transmit some points of view, some ideas, my values and I see the players are listening to me and I see the players like to listen to me, that’s why I enjoy my work here,” he said.
“For example today, with a player collaborated with the training session, a young player, Ryan Edmondson and he did that with such generosity because all that he had to do was allow his team-mate to resolve some potential situations and problems. But for him it was not useful and I was moved by the way he helped us.
“He was such a professional.”
Edmondson is regarded as one of Leeds’ brightest prospects, and boasts a highly impressive scoring record at youth level.

The 17-year-old made his debut for Leeds in the Championship last season, and also boasts senior experience after a loan spell with York City.
Although he is yet to feature under Bielsa, there are hopes that he could push for a chance before the end of the campaign.
Bielsa has suggested that he wants four of Leeds’ brightest youngsters involved in the first-team squad, and Edmondson could be one of the prospects who benefits.
Edmondson did not feature for Leeds’ under-23 side last night, with the first-team having a contest against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup this evening.
