Leeds United will earn promotion to the Premier League if they win their remaining four games of the Championship season.
Marcelo Bielsa has made it clear that Leeds United are ‘focuses’ on their up and coming games after he was asked about the club’s potential title push.
The Whites are four points behind current leaders Norwich City in the Championship table after they recorded back-to-back draws in recent weeks.
If Leeds win their two matches over the Easter period and Norwich drop points against Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City then Bielsa’s side would sit top of the table.
Ahead of their showdown against Wigan on Friday, Bielsa was asked about Daniel Farke’s side slipping up and a potential title push.
“Our objective is to be focused for the three games in each game. After every game, we have to adapt to the new reality. It’s three points,” said Bielsa, as quoted by Leeds Live.
There is no doubt that all Leeds and their supporters will be focusing on is securing an automatic place as they are in the driving seat with third-placed Sheffield United three points behind them.
It is simple, yet very difficult and nerve-racking for the Elland Road faithful because if they win all their remaining matches then they will earn promotion to the Premier League.
After their match against Wigan, Leeds will face a tricky trip to Brentford before taking on promotion-chasers Aston Villa and already-relegated Ipswich on the final day of the season.
