Leeds United were beaten 3-2 by Ipswich Town yesterday, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side well short of their best.

Leeds were beaten 3-2 by the Championship’s bottom side, as their worrying run of form continued.
Leeds were architects of their own downfall at Portman Road, with their performance very poor.
Kiko Casilla, in particular, made an awful error which allowed Ipswich to score their winner.
And Bielsa admits that Leeds performance was very much out of character for his side.
“I’m ashamed to say it what made the difference between today and the season’s average is that we contributed to the goals of the opponent in an exaggerated way,” he said.

“Against Wigan Alioski slided, fell and we had two headers in the box but today’s mistakes were more evident.
“This is not the feature of our players. It’s an exception. I repeat, the basis of our team is the defensive structure.”
Leeds will simply have to tighten up at the back if they are to progress in the play offs.
The Whites face a two-legged semi-final against Derby County, who have finished the season strongly.
