Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that winger Raphinha won’t be out for long after missing Monday’s clash with Leicester City.
The Whites hosted Leicester last night, but fell to a 4-1 defeat as the Foxes ran riot on the counter-attack at Elland Road.
Harvey Barnes and Youri Tielemans had Leicester 2-0 up, and whilst Stuart Dallas gave Leeds hope, Jamie Vardy added a third and Tielemans scored from the spot to seal a 4-1 win.
Leeds had to turn to youngster Ian Carlo Poveda to try and change the game, as new signing Raphinha wasn’t available.
The Brazilian, recently signed from Rennes, was notably not even on the bench, leaving fans to worry about him.
It was confirmed before the game that Raphinha was injured, and Bielsa was unsurprisingly quizzed about the situation after the full time whistle.

Bielsa wouldn’t state what Raphinha’s exact injury is, but claims that he won’t be out for long as he seeks a Premier League debut.
“For Raphinha it’s an injury that will not keep him out for long,” said Bielsa, seemingly hopeful that the new boy will be back soon.
Leeds travel to take on Crystal Palace next up, and whilst Raphinha may miss that game, he should at least be back after the international break.
