Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa will have to reshuffle his central defensive pack against Bristol City.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa addressed the media yesterday, ahead of his side’s clash with Bristol City tomorrow, and shared news of a potentially big blow for his team, with Pontus Jansson unlikely to be fit to face the Robins, as quoted by Leeds Live.
The Whites currently sit in third spot in the Championship table, three points adrift of league leaders Norwich City, and they have arguably played the best football in England’s second tier this term.
Jansson has played a key role for Leeds this season, and having him fit and firing on all cylinders will be crucial to their hopes of achieving promotion.
It seems as though the west Yorkshire outfit will have to do without the Swede against the Robins tomorrow, however.
Bielsa, who has implemented some really positive changes at Elland Road this season, admitted that Jansson is still struggling with an injury, as quoted by Leeds Live:

“I think he [Jansson] won’t be available for this weekend. Until yesterday we thought he would be available but now the game is getting closer I don’t have the same optimism. He didn’t train with the group, so it’s not probable he will play. Phillips can play as a centre-back or Aapo Halme is another possibility. He’s ready.”
Leeds do have plenty of options who can fill in for Jansson, but they will certainly miss the commanding Swede against Lee Johnson’s men tomorrow.
