The Leeds United winger was in scintillating form last night.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa spoke to reporters after his side’s impressive 3-0 win away at Reading last night, and raved about Pablo Hernandez, suggesting that the Spaniard possesses a certain kind of ability that you cannot teach, as quoted by Leeds Live.
The 33-year-old initially joined the Whites on loan in the summer of 2016, before making his switch to Elland Road a permanent one the following season, and he has gone on to be a real hit with the west Yorkshire club.
Hernandez has racked up 23 goals and 29 assists in 110 appearances in all competitions for Leeds, and he is one of the club’s most popular players amongst the fans.
The Spanish winger will be a hugely important player for the Whites between now and the end of the season, as they continue their ongoing quest for promotion back to the Premier League.
He was in superb form against Reading last night, scoring two wonder strikes for Leeds.
And Bielsa is certainly a big fan of Hernandez.
The Argentine told reporters how the Leeds winger is an incredibly unique talent, as quoted by Leeds Live:
“Pablo finds solutions above the technical skills he has. He has the capacity to read the moments of the game and when he reads these moments he puts the ball in convenient spaces. It’s something very hard to teach and it’s something very hard to learn. On this aspect, Pablo is a very wise player.”
Next up for Leeds is a huge home game against Sheffield United on Saturday, and they will need Hernandez to be on his very best form, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating the Blades.
