Leeds United beat Sheffield United 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that he thinks Jack Clarke ‘makes the difference’ every time he comes on as a substitute.
The Whites made a short trip to Bramall Lane on Saturday to take on Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, with both sides looking for a win to continue their promotion hopes.
It looked like being a frustrating afternoon for both sides as they failed to really create great chances, but Leeds were handed all three points late in the day.
Blades goalkeeper Dean Henderson inexplicably passed the ball straight to Leeds winger Clarke, and he crossed for Pablo Hernandez to tap the winner into the empty net.
It may not have been the most incredible assist of all time, but Clarke was rewarded for pressing and chasing the ball, and he didn’t panic when he did receive possession, picking out Hernandez for the goal.
Clarke, 18, has come up through the Leeds ranks, and has impressed in his limited playing time under Bielsa, to the point where he was brought on as a half-time substitute for Ezgjan Alioski.

After the game, Bielsa raved about Clarke’s ability to step up to the demands of playing for Leeds, noting that he is now a real difference maker for Leeds whenever he comes into the team.
“Every time he plays he adapts better to the level of demands of the team of Leeds,” said Bielsa. “He doesn’t look like a young player and every time he plays he has the capacity to create a difference with the opponent. The action of goal is not linked to his best virtues, his best skills, apart from the fact it was an important point during the game. Every time he plays he makes the difference,” he added.
