Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is having to deal with a mounting injury crisis at Elland Road.
Leeds missed out on automatic promotion officially yesterday, as they failed to beat Aston Villa.
Bielsa’s men will now have to win the play offs if they are to be playing in the Premier League.
However, Leeds’ task of winning the promotion deciding fixtures is made tougher as they have so many players out injured.
And Bielsa’s comments when asked who he wanted in the play offs are telling.
“I have so few players left, I thought you meant players,” the Leeds boss said, when asked who he had in mind.
“Sadly, we don’t have that many options. I was about to ask for your help.
“Because maybe there is a possibility for a player I can’t see!
“No I don’t have any preference for who we play.”
Leeds’ options look particularly short, with their first four choices currently out injured.
Barry Douglas, Ezgjan Alioski, Leif Davies and Stuart Dallas are all currently sidelined, which leaves Bielsa with a selection problem.
Leeds will hope to recover some players for the play offs, but whether they will be able to remains to be seen.
Leeds look most likely to have to play against Derby County in their semi-final.
