Leeds United could be without both Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas for their match against Stoke City.

Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that he is hoping that Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas are fit enough to start for his side tomorrow.

Leeds take on Stoke City on Saturday, but they could be without two important players.

Cooper and Dallas have both sat out from training today, as they are suffering with injuries.

And Bielsa is planning on making a late call on the pair’s fitness, as he wants to give them every chance of making it back.

“They could play tomorrow. But always I tell you all the things we know every day,” he said.

“Dallas and Cooper are resting today to try to recover well. Liam has a kick in the ankle and Dallas is a muscle problem, nothing special. Hopefully they play.”

Bielsa went on to confirm that if Dallas misses out he will be replaced by Jamie Shackleton, while Gaetano Berardi would come in for Cooper.

The loss of Cooper would be a particular blow for Leeds, as he has started the season very well.

Cooper and Ben White’s partnership has been very solid so far, with the Whites going unbeaten through their campaign to date.

Leeds go into tomorrow’s match as heavy favourites against Stoke, as Nathan Jones’s side are sat at rock bottom of the Championship table right now.
