Leeds United trio Patrick Bamford, Gianni Alioski and Barry Douglas are all doubts for tomorrow’s game.

Leeds United's manager Marcelo Bielsa during the Sky Bet Championship match between Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United at Hillsborough Stadium on October 26, 2019 in Sheffield, England.

Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that Patrick Bamford, Gianni Alioski and Barry Douglas all are injury concerns for Leeds United ahead of their match against Queens Park Rangers tomorrow.

Bamford hurt his ankle in Leeds’ last match against Sheffield Wednesday, with the striker being forced off at half-time.

Alioski and Douglas also appear to have picked up injury problems over the past week.

And Bielsa admits that he isn’t sure whether the trio will be able to feature for Leeds at the weekend.

“Bamford has a little problem in the ankle,” said Bielsa. “Alioski and Douglas have some little problems as well. Douglas in the knee and Alioski in the side.”

If Bamford is out injured it could open up an opportunity for Eddie Nketiah to make his first league start for Leeds.

Nketiah has outscored Bamford so far this season, but he has had to wait patiently for his chance at Elland Road.

The Arsenal loanee is yet to be named in Leeds’ starting line-up in the Championship, but he could be picked from the off, if Bamford does not recover in time.

If Leeds are able to beat QPR tomorrow they could move back up to the top of the Championship table, providing other results go in their favour.
