Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United won against Middlesbrough at Elland Road in the Championship on Friday.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has suggested to Leeds Live that he was pleased with the performance of Jack Harrison against Middlesbrough.

Harrison, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, featured for Leeds in their Championship game against Middlesbrough at Elland Road in the Championship on Friday evening.

The 21-year-old, who moved to the Whites on a season-long loan deal from defending Premier League champions City in the summer transfer window, started the match and played until the second minute of injury time.

Leeds head coach Bielsa has given his take on the performance of the England Under-21 international.

Bielsa told Leeds Live when asked about Harrison’s performance after the match on Friday: “In a game like the game of tonight, for an offensive player to perform is pretty hard.

“Taking into account this difficultly, the performance of Harrison was a positive one even if it was not decisive. He created interesting actions on his side.”

Encouraging performance

Harrison did well for Leeds against Middlesbrough at Elland Road on Friday evening, and fans must be pleased.

The City-owned youngster is still developing and learning, and the Elland Road faithful must be patient with him.

Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment, and the West Yorkshire outfit will be confident of finishing in the top six of the league table this season.
