Leeds United seemingly aren’t planning to bring in a goalkeeper outside of the transfer window.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that he isn’t even thinking about signing a goalkeeper in light of Jamal Blackman’s loan-ending injury.
The Whites brought in Blackman on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea over the summer, having seen him impress during a stint with Sheffield United last season.
Intended to compete with Bailey Peacock-Farrell for playing time, Blackman struggled to really push for first-team football, and suffered a loan-ending injury earlier this month to leave Leeds struggling between the sticks.
Will Huffer made his debut against Bristol City last weekend with Peacock-Farrell out, whilst young Polish stopper Kamil Miazek has been on the bench too.
Some have wondered whether Leeds will look to bring in a free agent or an emergency loan to ease their woes at the position, but given that they haven done it so far, it seems unlikely that it will happen at all.

Now, ahead of this weekend’s game against Sheffield United, Bielsa has commented on the situation, having been asked whether he would be making a signing to tide Leeds over until January.
Bielsa claimed that he hasn’t even thought about it yet, meaning that, with just a month to go until January, an immediate move seems hugely unlikely, and may not even be a priority in January.
|I can’t answer to this question today because I haven’t thought about it yet,” said Bielsa. “We still have a month of competition to play. And usually we think about this kind of thing when we get close to the date,” he added.
