Leeds United got their season off to a winning start by beating Bristol City 3-1 yesterday.

Leeds won 3-1 in their opening game of the season yesterday, as they dominated at Ashton Gate.
Bamford and White both caught the eye, as Leeds picked up the three points, for differing reasons.
Bamford was a real threat up-front, as his power caused Bristol City’s defence considerable problems.
White, on the other hand, was very composed at the back on debut, and rarely looked troubled as Leeds picked up the victory.
And Bielsa said: “Very good, both. Nature of the team was very positive. With three, four, five players over this average. These two were part of the five.”

The hope is that both Bamford and White can continue this level of performance across the season for Leeds.
Both Bamford and White have question marks hanging over their hands going into the contest, ahead of the new campaign.
Bamford struggled at Leeds last term, where he didn’t take enough of his opportunities, but his well taken goal yesterday should have done his confidence the power of good.
White, meanwhile, has never played at Championship level before, but he looked at home in the heart of Leeds’ defence on his first appearance.
