Leeds have slipped up over the Easter period, losing to both Wigan Athletic and Brentford.
The Whites’ defeat to the Bees yesterday was particularly concerning, as it has effectively ended their chances of landing an automatic promotion spot.
Leeds are three points behind Sheffield United with just two games remaining this season.
But Bielsa feels that Leeds’ finishing has been their problem over the course of the season, rather than their mentality.
He said: “Pressure has other ingredients. The level of the team has always been the same, the effort has always been the same. The disposal to receive the ball has always been complete. Of course the team has limits.
“It has nothing to do with a mental aspect which could decrease the capacity of the team. I would almost say the opposite. This team has hidden many limits with huge effort. With personality and by being demanding, each players has played very close to their maximum in many games. All I am describing now is something very clear to me. I deeply believe it or I wouldn’t tell you.
“If we have to explain these circumstances, we can say this team deserves 10 or 12 points more and we don’t have them because we needed too many chances to score one goal. It’s normal I make this analysis because I have the vision of the whole season.”
Leeds were far from at their best yesterday, but even then they did create a number of opportunities.
The Whites pushed to get themselves back into the match, but they were wasteful in the final third.
Leeds now look destined to finish in the play offs, where they are most likely to face Derby County or Bristol City.
