Leeds boss was dismissive of the transfer window before the weekend’s defeat.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa was dismissive of the upcoming transfer window when he was quizzed last week.
After the 4-1 hammering away at West Bromwich Albion, it’s time for the Argentine to prepare to be more proactive.
Quoted last week by Leeds Live, Bielsa said he did not expect the club to be very busy in the transfer market in January.
He said: “It will be very hard to add new players. But we will have four more players coming in January, Bamford, Brown, Berardi and Ayling.
“It’s only my opinion. The club can have a different opinion and I will take that into account.”
Bielsa was very much prepared to be overruled by his superiors who are already busy scouting players.

One instance of this was evident at the weekend with Portuguese outlet A Bola reporting Leeds had a scout at Porto vs Braga on Saturday.
Leeds have done tremendously well this season and the West Brom defeat may just be a one off.
If it is repeated before January then it will become serious reason for concern.
Marcelo Bielsa will have to accept that it is time for Leeds to really go for it in the transfer market and improve on the options they have.
