Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford had a mixed performance last weekend.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that he didn’t think Patrick Bamford had his best game for the club against Millwall last week.
The Whites played out a dramatic clash at Elland Road, falling 1-0 and then 2-1 down, before Luke Ayling and Pablo Hernandez’s second goal of the game secured a 3-2 win.
With Sheffield United losing at home to Bristol City, Leeds jumped back up into the automatic promotion places, and are now in the driving seat for a return to the Premier League.
This weekend, Leeds face a trip to out-of-form Birmingham City, who are managed by ex-Leeds boss Garry Monk and won at Elland Road earlier this season, but have lost five games in a row.
Bielsa will be hoping to avoid a slip-up at St Andrews, and he has Kemar Roofe back at his disposal, which puts a little more pressure on Patrick Bamford to step up again.
The Leeds striker had a spot kick saved against Millwall last week, and had a game to forget in general as he couldn’t find the net for his side.

Ahead of the trip to Birmingham, Bielsa has given his honest verdict, claiming that Bamford didn’t have his best game last weekend, but remains as motivated as ever and didn’t need any extra help this week after a poor display.
“We have done normal work with him,” said Bielsa. “Bamford is a very serious player to take responsibility in all areas. He has a very strong mind. It’s true it was not his best game last time, but his level of motivation is as it was,” he added.
