Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United won against Bolton Wanderers at Elland Road at the weekend.
Dallas did not start for Leeds in their Championship match against Bolton at Elland Road this past Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old Northern Ireland international winger came on as a substitute in the 81st minute, as the West Yorkshire outfit went on to win the match 2-1.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Dallas was ready to come on on the hour mark, and he was also stripped and ready to go onto the pitch just before Leeds scored their second goal.
Leeds head coach Bielsa has explained why he took so long to make the chance regarding Dallas, a decision that must have bemused the Elland Road faithful.
Bielsa told Leeds Live regarding Dallas: “Pablo’s final passes very efficient and when he plays on the sides as a winger he has less possibilities to make the final pass but I also wanted to keep Tyler Roberts on the pitch and have Pablo as a No10.
“Because Tyler Roberts was making a good job in linking Bamford and our other line. It took time to make the decision because I was not convinced that Roberts had to go out.
“And at the same time I didn’t think that we should have Bamford, Roberts and Pablo at the same time.”

The win against Bolton means that Leeds are now third in the Championship table with 64 points from 33 matches, just two points behind leaders Norwich City with a game in hand.
The Whites are going strong in the Championship at the moment, and if they win their game in hand, then they will go top of the standings.
