Leeds United were given their heaviest defeat of the season by West Bromwich Albion.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that West Bromwich Albion counterpart Darren Moore deserves credit for Saturday’s mauling at The Hawthorns.
West Brom brought Leeds back down to earth by smashing Bielsa’s side 4-1 in the West Midlands.
Second-half goals from Hal Robson-Kanu, Matty Phillips, Harvey Barnes and Dwight Gayle helped the Baggies into a 4-0 lead, before Pablo Hernandez pulled one back for the Elland Road club late on.
Much has been made of who is responsible for the drubbing, with Bielsa himself admitting that he is solely to blame.
But the 63-year-old has also conceded that West Brom boss Moore got his gameplan spot-on.
“When I take responsibility for something it’s because I thought about it. Am I responsible or not? If I can’t explain why I’m responsible then I would be trying to make you have a reaction,” he told The YEP.
““The head coach of West Brom found a game which suited the features of his team. That was precisely what I had to avoid with the ideas I had. In every game, players do good things and make mistakes.”
Leeds, who spent most of this week at the top of the Championship, have slipped to third in the table, two points clear of fifth-placed Albion.
This was a massive wake-up call for the West Yorkshire side, but thankfully Bielsa has two weeks in which to help them recover due to the international break. The important thing is that this is an isolated defeat.
Bielsa, whose troops host Bristol City in 13 days, must not allow it to be the start of a very poor spell.
