Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa wants the real Samu Saiz to please stand up.

Speaking to Leeds Live, Marcelo Bielsa has called on Leeds United playmaker Samu Saiz to rediscover his best form.
Saiz managed 81 minutes in the 2-1 win over QPR this past weekend for what was his first start under Bielsa since October.
The former Huesca star has gone off the boil in a big way at times this season and is yet to score in any of his 19 Championship appearances.
As far as individual numbers go, this version of Saiz is pale in comparison to the Spaniard who took the Championship by storm last term, netting nine goals and setting up seven in all competitions.
And Bielsa wants the 27-year-old to recapture the type of standard that he ‘used to give us’.
“He needs to play more games. He needs to be more confident,” he told Leeds Live.
“Today, he made very few mistakes, but it was hard for him today to give us the great thing he used to give us.
“I expect, from him, his capacity to beat the opponent, to get rid of the opponent and I hope he will get this back with continuity.”

The good news is that Leeds are second in the Championship and five points clear of third-placed Sheffield United.
The even better news is that the former Real Madrid youth is clearly nowhere near his best, so how good can Bielsa’s side be when Saiz hits top form? And it is a question of ‘when’, not ‘if’.
As the old saying goes, form is temporary and class is permanent, and Leeds fans will hope that Saiz reminds the Championship of that adage sooner rather than later.
