Mateusz Klich was in action for Leeds United against Millwall in the Championship on Saturday.
Klich featured for Leeds in their Championship match against Millwall away from home at The Den on Saturday afternoon.
The Poland international midfielder started the game and played for 61 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
Although the 28-year-old tried his best, the midfielder was not effective as he has been in previous matches so far this season.
Leeds head coach Bielsa has given his take on the performance of Klich – who joined the Whites from Dutch side FC Twente in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £1.5 million.
Bielsa told Leeds Live (17:20): “The position of Klich was a new position for him. Because he played as a fourth defender in front of the three main centre-backs. So he couldn’t use his main skill which is to make offensive actions.
“For the team we feel we’re lacking this kind of skill and he’s not used to playing the kind of position. He’s not used to making the link between the defence and attack.”
