Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United have lost against Brentford.

The Whites have suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Brentford away from home in the Championship.
The loss means that the West Yorkshire outfit are third in the Championship table at the moment with 82 points from 44 matches.
Bielsa’s side are just three points behind second-placed Sheffield United and six points behind leaders Norwich City.
Leeds head coach Bielsa has suggested that he will not give up on a top-two finish in the Championship this season, but he seems to have resigned to playing in the playoffs instead.
Bielsa told Leeds Live when asked regarding playoffs: “As long as maths say something we will be following this, but we know our opportunities were in the last two games we played.
“The sadness is linked to the fact we could have changed just a few things to get different results. Small details.”

Final games
Leeds will return to action next weekend when they take on Aston Villa at Elland Road in the Championship.
The Whites will then face Ipswich Town away from home in the league in their final game in the ‘regular’ season.
Leeds need Chris Wilder’s United to slip up, but the way the Blades are going, it is hard to see them drop points in their final two league fixtures.
