Izzy Brown joined Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United on loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Brown, who can operate as an attacking midfielder, a forward or as a winger, is recovering from two operations after rupturing a knee ligament earlier this year.
The 21-year-old recently played for the Leeds Under-23 side against Birmingham City and could feature against Sheffield United in an Under-23 game next week.
The Leeds senior side are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Bristol City at Elland Road in the Championship.
Bielsa has suggested that he will not rush Brown – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – back into action.
Bielsa told Leeds Live when asked how close Brown is to the first team: “Izzy Brown hasn’t played in the last year. So now he’s well.
“He has to be well to start now, to train as a footballer. But now I don’t know how long it will take for him to find his level again.
“Depends on his capacity to adapt. And it depends on his capacity to be a member of the team but we can’t ignore the fact that a player who hasn’t played a game in the last year, we can’t expect him to resolve his lack of activity in a short time.”

Important player
Brown is a very talented and promising young attacking player who has experience of playing in the Championship.
It could take the former England Under-20 international a while to get used to the pace and the rhythm, but if he is fit, then he will be an important player for Leeds in the second half of the season.
