Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has praised Ezgjan Alioski.

Bielsa has also suggested that he was pleased with how the 26-year-old Macedonia international played at left-back against Brentford at Elland Road in the Championship before the international break.
Bielsa told Leeds Live about Alioski playing at left-back: “So far he has given us good response as a winger. To put him in a full-back position just in case it’s a necessity for us.
“It’s either because of the result of the game or either for the features of the opponents who play in this sector.”

Different opinion of fans
Leeds fans were impressed with the performance of Alioski at left-back against Brentford, as reported on HITC Sport, and some have urged Bielsa on Twitter to deploy him in that position against Blackburn Rovers in the Championship this weekend, as reported by HITC Sport.
While Bielsa may be pleased with how the 26-year-old winger – who joined the West Yorkshire outfit from Lugano in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £2 million – has done as a winger, Leeds fans are not, as reported on HITC Sport here and here, but then again, it would not be wise to question the Argentine boss’s judgement.
