Patrick Bamford scored both goals for Leeds United against Wigan Athletic.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has praised Patrick Bamford for his performance against Wigan Athletic, as quoted in Leeds Live.
Bamford scored twice for Leeds in their 2-0 win against Wigan away from home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old former Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough forward scored against Bristol City in the league earlier this month as well.
Leeds head coach Bielsa was pleased with the display produced by Bamford against Wigan, and believes that the goals that he scored will boost his confidence going forward.
Bielsa told Leeds Live about Bamford: “For a striker to score goals is always going to be important because it’s something very positive for him and it’s going to give confidence to the player.
“More knowing he could have scored two or three goals easily against Nottingham Forest too.”
The Leeds head coach added: “Patrick Bamford is a player with high personality. Of course, to score the goal it’s always going to be exciting for him.”

Important player
Bamford is a very good forward who struggled with injuries last season, and now that he is fully fit and available, he is showing what he is capable of.
With Kemar Roofe having left Leeds in the summer transfer window, Bamford is now the number one striker for the Whites.
The former Chelsea prospect has huge responsibility on his shoulders to lead the line for Leeds, and performances such as the one against Wigan will only enhance his confidence in the coming weeks and months.
