Leeds United have been linked with the Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper this week.

Marcelo Bielsa has told a press conference as quoted by Leeds Live that he has no news on Leeds United’s pursuit of a new goalkeeper.
The Whites are expected to give Bailey Peacock-Farrell some competition in January after Jamal Blackman returned to parent club Chelsea with a broken leg last month.
The Daily Mirror (December 11, page 53) reported earlier this week that United were set to sign Sheffield Wednesday ace Kieran Westwood on a free transfer.
But it looks like those reports are wide of the mark after Bielsa revealed that there had been no progress on the goalkeeper front.
Asked in a press conference if he had any preferences, the Argentine, as quoted by Leeds Live, said: “It’s not a task I realise because I’m not a specialist.
“I usually don’t rely on hypothesis. Until now I have no news on the possibility of a goalkeeper. Of course, if I had any news on that I would comment immediately.
“[There is] No news about it. The information I could give you regarding transfers is I see the importance the media give to this subject and if I had any news I would tell you about it.”
Bielsa’s insistence that he would inform the media of any developments on the transfer front indicate that Leeds’ reported pursuit of the 34-year-old keeper probably isn’t as cut and dry as media reports have suggested.
Fans of the Elland Road would love to see Westwood join, evident by their reaction to the rumour earlier this week, but time will tell who the Whites get.
