Leeds United are sitting top of the Championship table.

Marcelo Bielsa has hailed Stuart Dallas as an ‘important player’ and stated that the versatile Leeds man ‘attacks with surprise’ after he helped his side to a 1-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday night.
Leeds recorded a deserved victory against the Bees at Elland Road, with Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah coming off the bench and scoring the only goal of the game.
Dallas, who can play various roles within the team, is currently being deployed at right-back, as he picked up a yellow card and was substituted for Gaetano Baradi late into the second half.
After the game, Bielsa had nothing but positive words to say about Dallas as his team maintained their unbeaten start to the new season.
“He is an important player,” said Bielsa, as quoted by Leeds Live. “He defends well, he attacks with surprise and he is showing a lot of skills.”

It is a case of deja vu for Leeds because they were in this exact position this time last season, but the key thing is everyone at the club has the experience of that previous campaign.
The big test for Leeds will come when they go through a bad period and what happens during the second half of the campaign.
If they can learn from last season’s mistakes then not only will Leeds earn promotion, but they’ll end up winning the Championship outright.
