Leeds United deserve better than their meagre sell to buy transfer policy.

Marcelo Bielsa performed miracles at Leeds United last season.
He turned around a team of seemingly average players, gelling them into promotion contenders.
Only injuries and poor finishing prevented Leeds from winning automatic promotion.
So it is galling for Leeds’ fans that the reward for a successful season, is practically no transfer budget at all.
Leeds are looking to loan players in to strengthen the team, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports.
This was a strategy which worked poorly last season, with three loanees from Chelsea combining for an embarrassing two league starts combined.
Obviously Leeds should have better luck and judgement this time around, but it’s frustrating that going down this route should be the club’s first option.

The finances just aren’t there, and Leeds have to sell once again this summer.
Just like Ronaldo Vieira’s sale last season financed transfer activity, Jack Clarke looks to be off this summer, The Sun report.
If owner Andrea Radrizzani does not have the money to invest, then he doesn’t have it.
But its just frustrating for a fanbase which would love a spending spree, and a manager whose performance deserves one, that they are unlikely to be able to get one.
