The Leeds United-owned midfielder is currently on loan with Luton Town.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa addressed the media today during his pre-match press conference, ahead of his side’s clash with Preston North End tomorrow night, and admitted that he was not even aware that Eunan O’Kane sustained a serious injury whilst playing for Luton Town at the weekend, as quoted by Leeds Live.
The 28-year-old joined the Hatters on loan during the summer transfer window, but unfortunately for him, his season appears to be over already, having broken his leg in two places on Saturday.
Bielsa, however, was unaware of the seven-capped Republic of Ireland international’s injury setback.
The Leeds boss addressed the media today, and was asked about O’Kane’s leg break, as quoted by Leeds Live:
“I was not aware of the injury.”
The Argentine was then told that he has broken his leg in two places:

“I am very sad about it and I am sad for him. I am ashamed to find this out in this question. I should have got this information faster, that’s all I can say.”
O’Kane would have been desperate to prove to Bielsa what he is capable of this season, but his injury has surely put an end to any hopes that he had of doing just that.
