Leeds United moved back to the top of the Championship table on Sunday afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa has admitted that his Leeds United players are finding it ‘difficult’ to defend set-pieces after they secured a deserved 2-0 win over Barnsley on Sunday afternoon.
It was quite a frantic Yorkshire derby, with both teams producing chances to score, especially Leeds, who should have opened the scoring a lot earlier than they did.
In the end, Eddie Nketiah had to come off the bench to pounce from close range, before the Arsenal man was fouled and Mateusz Klich then fired home from the penalty spot.
After the game, Bielsa stated that the manner in which his team attacks meant that they will naturally concede a lot of chances as he shared his concern about set-plays.
“The opponent creates a lot of chances,” said Bielsa, as quoted by Leeds Live. “Using different ways, but our offensive spirit, sometimes we give the option to the opponent to have more chances than if we were compact.
“We speculate, but it’s true set-pieces are difficult for us.”

Leeds United do have quite a physical team from a defensive standpoint so that in itself shouldn’t be a worry, it might just be something they can’t get right, at this moment in time.
Even the current Premier League champions, Manchester City have a weakness when it comes to defending set-pieces, so it’s not all doom and gloom.
If Leeds can be more lethal in front of goal then they’ll better what they did last season which was miss out on promotion when they were beaten by Derby in the Championship play-off semi-finals.
