Brands has been quick to get to work at Everton, since taking over as director of football.
He said: “I can be clear in that because I know the player very well. He was on my list at PSV [to sign]. He is a very talented young player and I think he has to be moved up next year.”
Everton fans should now be very excited for Brands’ and Silva’s plans with the prospect, as he could light up Goodison Park.
When Sam Allardyce was in charge Lookman was constantly overlooked in favour of more safe options.
However, the England youth international’s spell out on loan with Red Bull Leipzig proved his quality.
And Silva being more willing to give Lookman the opportunity he deserves at Everton should be music to Toffees supporters’ ears.
